It’s lighter and more durable. Personally I’ve had a Roost stand for about five years now, carting it around in my backpack for months at a time when traveling and using it every day at home the rest of the time, and it’s still as good as new.

That’s not to say you couldn’t travel with the Luye – it’s certainly a cheaper option – but it’s just not our top pick in that category.
